Job Title: Analytical Chemist I

6 month contract

On-site in Piscataway, NJ

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Analytical Chemist I to support our quality and product development teams by performing chemical analyses on finished products. The ideal candidate will have experience with chromatographic, spectroscopic, and wet chemistry techniques, and will be responsible for processing and interpreting data to ensure product quality and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze finished product samples using chromatographic (e.g., HPLC), spectroscopic, and wet chemistry methods.
• Process, interpret, and report analytical data clearly and accurately.
• Prepare documentation and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Follow established laboratory protocols and safety guidelines.
• Support product development and quality assurance initiatives.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytical chemistry.
• Prior experience in the cosmetics or consumer goods industry strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
