Job Description

Company Overview

Leminal Diagnostics is building the most agile and reliable diagnostic imaging supply chain in healthcare. We source, refurbish, test, and deliver high-quality imaging equipment and parts—in stock, ready-to-go—so that healthcare providers can focus on what matters most: delivering care. From fast-growing outpatient centers and ambulatory surgery centers to hospitals, government facilities, and international markets, we deliver speed and reliability where it counts. Leminal is built on a culture of entrepreneurship, a get-stuff-done mentality, and the drive to find simple solutions to complex problems. Backed by proven infrastructure in the aviation sector, we are assembling a world-class team to shape the foundation of our operations.

Role Overview

The Biomedical Technician will play a hands-on role in Leminal’s core operations—refurbishing imaging systems, harvesting parts, testing components, and ensuring all products meet our strict quality and performance standards. Working closely with the Operations Manager and fellow technicians, you will diagnose, repair, and calibrate complex imaging equipment, maintain detailed service documentation, and contribute to continuous process improvement within our ISO-certified environment. This role is ideal for a technically skilled, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced warehouse environment and takes ownership of delivering reliable, ready-to-ship equipment to healthcare providers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Refurbish and repair diagnostic imaging equipment (CT, MRI, Mammogram) according to OEM and Leminal standards.
  • Disassemble, harvest, and test high-value components and subsystems for resale or reuse.
  • Calibrate and verify equipment performance using specialized testing tools and diagnostic software.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, electrical safety checks, and quality control testing on all refurbished systems and parts.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation for each unit processed, including test results, part certifications, and compliance forms.
  • Adhere to Leminal’s ISO 13485-based Quality Management System (QMS) and all safety, ESD, and regulatory requirements.
  • Uphold radiation and electrical safety standards; ensure all work areas remain organized, clean, and audit-ready.
  • Support internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes and SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or equivalent military training / experience in biomedical equipment repair (e.g., U.S. Army 68A, U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman – Biomedical, U.S. Air Force BMET, or similar)
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with diagnostic imaging equipment or other biomedical devices preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and software interfaces in medical devices.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, service manuals, and test instrumentation.
  • Experience working with CT, MRI, or Mammogram systems strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 13485, ESD-safe practices, and radiation safety protocols.
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation habits, and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.

Why Join Us

  • Opportunity to build a business from the ground up as a foundational team member.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and career growth potential.
  • A mission-driven culture focused on speed, quality, and impact in global healthcare.
