Job Title: Business Operations Specialist

Location: Sanford, NC – 5000 Womack Road Plant

Duration: 24 Months

Pay Rate: Roughly $23/hr W2 + Benefits | $26/hr C2C

Job Description:

Seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support vendor relationships, project tracking, and inventory management within a high-paced manufacturing environment. This position starts with 1–2 months of on-site training and transitions to a hybrid schedule (2 days in-office).

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate across business units and project teams
• Maintain business communications and project data
• Review contracts, proposals, and supplements
• Set up project/work breakdown structures and document business processes
• Track budgets, expenditures, and transaction controls
• Resolve order and shipment issues with internal and external contacts
• Perform order revisions, price adjustments, and supplier/customer setups
• Provide interpretation and problem-solving support to internal teams

Qualifications (Required):

• Associate degree or 5+ years of relevant experience
• Background in supply chain or material planning
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with MRP/purchasing systems
• Ability to follow procedures and work independently

Qualifications (Desired):

• APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD certification
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Clear and concise communication (email, phone, meetings)
• Collaboration with internal/external customers to resolve issues

Soft Skills Required:

• Strong time and workload management
• Composed under pressure and ethical in conduct
• Team-oriented and open to guidance
• Eager to improve performance and learn from feedback
• Dependable and consistent in task execution

Disqualifiers:

• No relevant supply chain or Excel/MRP system experience
