Position Overview

Provide friendly and attentive customer service as you ensure that cakes are decorated and ready for customers to purchase or pick up. You'll also help answer customers' questions about cake options and take orders as needed. Have the ability to write neatly on cakes and frost them using a variety of bakery tools (knives, piping bags and decorating tips, flowers and other frosting decorations, airbrushes, and photo machines)

Shift : 2nd : Day, Evening (Varies Per Store Needs)

Job Type : Part Time

• Provide friendly and attentive customer service as you ensure that cakes are decorated and ready for customers to purchase or pick up
• Must be able to take direction and adhere to strict food preparation guidelines.
• Proper handling and storage of equipment are required at all times.
• Responsible for cleaning the decorating area before you start and after you are done.
• Help answer customers' questions about cake options and take orders as needed

• Specialized Knowledge : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations..
• Special Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions for equipment, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports; Ability to speak affability to read, write, and perform basic math functions; Possess basic computer skills; Regular vision

• Other: : Ability to operate -Mixers, Ovens, Fryer, Proofer, Pallet Jack, Pan Washer, Slicer, Baler and Compactor, Jelly Pump, Computerized Label Machine

Years Of Experience

• 0-2 : Prior experience in a bakery setting; cake decorating experience strongly preferred
