Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Engineer in Training, located in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area with flexibility for some remote work. The Engineer in Training will assist in site layout, grading, utility design, and stormwater management. Daily tasks include preparing technical reports, performing engineering calculations, and coordinating with project teams to ensure compliance with local regulations. The role also involves collaborating with designers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Civil Engineering fundamentals, including site layout, grading, stormwater management, and utility design
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools and related software for efficient project execution
• Strong analytical skills for performing engineering calculations and preparing detailed technical reports
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required
• Fundamentals in Engineering (FE) certification or intent to obtain certification is required
• Prior internship or professional experience in civil engineering is an advantage
