UNIS is one of the largest & fastest growing Logistics companies , we are looking for qualified Company Drivers. As a Company Class C Driver for UNIS Transportation, you will transport non-Hazardous freight to our extensive clientele. This is year-round work, with consistent volumes picking up and delivering. This is Monday through Friday (1st shift) In Waddell, AZ

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers with friendly and positive attitude.
• Meet daily pick-up and delivery schedule
• Detecting freight damages at the time of pick-up.
• Data entry via hand device
• Working in tandem with the company policies.
• Maintain company vehicle appearance.
• Completing all tasks as assigned by the dispatcher
• Use of hand truck, pallet jack and forklift
• When not on a driving assignment , assist in the warehouse with general labor tasks
• Assist with unloading and loading trailers
• Assist where ever needed to help generate revenue
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Specifications

• Should have excellent written as well as verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers
• Familiar with receiving and shipping processes
• Friendly and positive customer skills.
• Familiar with Windows Operating systems and or hand held devices

Job Qualifications

• High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Pass Background Check / Drug Screen
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to work in a warehouse environment.
• Able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
