Job Title: CNC Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM (with possible Friday work)
Type: Contract (6-month assignment with strong potential for permanent hire)
Client: A world-class manufacturer of life-changing medical devices Key Responsibilities - Operate CNC machines with minimal supervision
- Follow written instructions and Work Instructions (WIs)
- Adjust machine offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy
- Inspect own work to ensure quality standards are met
- Meet production and quality expectations
- Accurately document inspection and production results
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as applicable
- Adhere to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); report any process deviations to the Team Leader
- Comply with all departmental safety policies and procedures
- Understand and apply the Quality System and relevant federal and international standards
- Assist other employees, teams, and sales personnel as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader
Required Qualifications Education: - High School Diploma or GED required
Experience & Skills: - Ability to read blueprints
- Strong math skills
- Proficient in using inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
- Some manufacturing experience preferred
- High attention to detail
