Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee the execution of new elevator installations and modernization projects following successful sales closures. The Construction Project Manager will manage all aspects of project delivery, from planning and coordination to on-site supervision and final handover, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong background in construction project management, preferably within elevators, HVAC, or similar trades, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution : Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets, in collaboration with sales and installation teams.
  • Team Coordination : Lead cross-functional teams, including contractors and internal staff, to ensure seamless project progression and adherence to specifications.
  • Budget and Cost Management : Monitor project costs, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures to maintain profitability while delivering value to clients.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients post-sale, providing updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management : Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in construction, elevators, HVAC, or a related trade.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects from inception to completion, including installations and modernizations.
  • Experience working on residential and commercial construction projects in urban environments is a plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience or certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) may be considered.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage teams and complex projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of elevator systems, construction methods, and safety protocols.

Other Requirements :

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites within the San Francisco Bay Area as needed.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and accessibility standards (e.g., ADA).

  • Base Salary: Competitive base salary with commensurate with experience.
