Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead K-12 and education-focused construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing school construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while fostering strong relationships with school districts, project teams, and subcontractors. This role provides the opportunity to oversee all field operations and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct daily field operations on K-12 and education projects, ensuring work aligns with plans, specifications, and project objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site crews to achieve project milestones on time and within budget.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols and uphold high-quality standards across the jobsite.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and school representatives to address project needs and challenges.
  • Identify and proactively resolve issues that could impact schedule, budget, or quality.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation (daily reports, RFIs, submittals, change orders, site logs).
  • Promote a professional, collaborative, and safety-focused culture across all project teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing K-12 or other education-related construction projects.
  • Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent (required).
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards specific to educational facilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining focus on quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and project documentation tools (preferred).
