FirstFour is assisting our client in their search for a Director of Operations to develop and execute operational strategies for the company's retail operations.

This key role will be responsible for leading the company's day-to-day business operations including retail store management, compliance, marketing, financial performance, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership and development - Design and implement a structured retailer success program framework for convenience store operations; Develop operational policies and procedures; Create and execute an operational roadmap for retail store expansions
• Operations performance management - Oversee daily store operations, shift management, and customer experience initiatives; Lead the recruitment, training, and development of store managers and operational team; Implement inventory control and reconciliation processes; Develop and manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow strategies for retail operations.
• Marketing & Merchandising Strategy - store floor planning, space allocation, and category management strategies; Implement pricing strategies, vendor negotiations, and promotional marketing programs
• Technology and process optimization - Oversee the selection and implementation of retail management systems; Develop KPIs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management required, MBA preferred
• 10+ years of leadership experience in retail convenience store operations
