Program Manager II – Organizational Research (Employee Listening Programs)
Remote- supporting CST
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT
$54–$57/hour (based on benefits selection)
1-year (possible extensions or conversion)

Orion Group is hiring a Program Manager for our multinational pharmaceutical client’s Organizational Research team.

The Organization Research Team is an internal applied human-capital research consulting group focused on strategic people priorities. They are seeking a Program Manager to lead the operational and technical execution of their global Employee Listening and Engagement Survey programs.

This role coordinates survey activities, manages vendor relationships, partners with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensures delivery of actionable insights that shape employee experience and organizational strategy.

Program Manager Key Responsibilities

Survey & Program Management
  • Lead planning, coordination, and administration of global employee surveys from design through reporting.
  • Work with internal partners and external vendors to configure survey setup, timelines, and communications.
  • Gather and validate demographic and filtering data to support accurate analytics and segmentation.
  • Oversee testing, translation, and localization for multi-region deployments.
  • Manage ad-hoc reporting requests and dashboards; identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes.
System Administration & Vendor Oversight
  • Act as primary liaison for the survey platform (Perceptyx, Qualtrics, Medallia, Glint, or similar).
  • Troubleshoot access, permissions, and data integrity issues; validate system configuration and feature testing.
  • Manage survey mailbox inquiries, user access requests, and issue escalation.
  • Collaborate with IT and HRIS teams for data uploads, SSO configurations, and platform testing.
Project Management & Process Documentation
  • Create and maintain detailed project timelines, deliverables, and progress updates for survey milestones.
  • Capture and maintain meeting notes, decision logs, and requirements documentation.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, and continuous improvement plans for survey cycles.

Program Manager Qualifications:


Required
  • 5+ years of program/project management or employee experience program experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for analysis and executive-level presentations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong written/verbal communication.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret survey data and identify trends.
Preferred
  • Experience managing global employee engagement or listening surveys.
  • Hands-on experience with Perceptyx, Medallia, Qualtrics, Glint, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and data governance practices.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, MS Project, or Jira.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, or related field.
