Position Description

The Enterprise Network Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise network infrastructures across multi-site and hybrid environments. This role requires deep expertise in advanced network engineering with a strong focus on BGP, Cisco routing and switching, high-availability architecture, and network security.

The architect will also lead the design and operation of cloud network environments across major platforms including AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and GCP, encompassing the design of VPCs/VNets, cloud routing and peering, advanced security frameworks, and network automation.

Skills Required

• Deep expertise in enterprise network design, cloud networking, and network security.
• Advanced knowledge of BGP and resilient, high-availability network infrastructures.
• Strong ability to architect and maintain complex, mission-critical network systems.

Skills Preferred

• Expertise in Cisco networking technologies including routers, switches, and data center solutions (Cisco Nexus, VXLAN, ACI).
• Advanced skills in BGP configuration, route propagation, route maps, attributes, and policy-based routing.
• Experience managing firewalls in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex BGP issues (route leaks, path anomalies, peering conflicts).
• Strong understanding of high availability, failover, and redundancy design for mission-critical systems.
• Experience designing hybrid cloud connectivity (Megaport, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPNs).
• Knowledge of secure network architectures and best practices.
• In-depth understanding of public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, GCP).
• Knowledge of cloud-native networking and security, including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Familiarity with risk mitigation strategies, firewall configuration, and regulatory standards.

Experience Required

• 6 years (within last 8 years) of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise network infrastructures across multi-site and hybrid environments.
• 6 years (within last 8 years) of hands-on experience with BGP, Cisco routing/switching, security, and high-availability data center design.
• 3 years (within last 5 years) of experience architecting and managing multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, GCP) with VPC/VNet design, routing, peering, security, and automation.

Education Required

• Cisco Certification: CCNP or CCIE (required)
• Cloud Certification: One of the following:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Azure Administrator Associate
