We are seeking a reliable, experienced Phlebotomist to join our team and service several skilled nursing facilities in the Boston area. This is a full-time position with regular morning rounds and occasional on-call needs for stat draws throughout the day. You’ll be working closely with facility staff to ensure timely and accurate specimen collection and processing.
Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture, collect urine and other bodily fluid specimens
Conduct scheduled morning draws at assigned facilities
Enter and verify orders in requisitions with complete accuracy
Prepare and label specimens for laboratory processing
Drop off collected samples at the lab at the end of each shift
Be available for stat draws during on-call hours after morning rounds
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience
Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings required
Proficiency in blood draws, urine collection, and other specimen types
Ability to accurately enter orders and complete requisitions
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable transportation (travel between facilities is required)
