Job Description

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Graphis Production Designer to join our creative team. This role bridges the gap between design and production, ensuring that all creative assets are both visually compelling and technically sound for final output. This role will support the creative team by assisting with design projects, executing artwork updates, preparing final production files, and ensuring brand consistency across all materials.

In addition to core production design responsibilities, this role will take on packaging production tasks, including purchase order (PO) entry, determining artwork updates, updating packaging files, creating proofs, and reviewing proof PDFs for accuracy.

Creative Design & Production:

• Assist in the design and layout of marketing collateral, packaging, in-store displays, and other brand materials while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Adapt and refine creative assets for various formats, including print, digital, and packaging applications.
• Work closely with designers to translate concepts into polished, production-ready files.

File Preparation & Quality Control:

• Prepare print-ready and digital files, ensuring proper formatting, color accuracy, and adherence to production specifications.
• Review and troubleshoot files to ensure they meet vendor and print requirements.

Collaboration & Workflow Management:

• Work closely with the Creative Team and external vendors to ensure seamless production processes.
• Communicate with printers and vendors to resolve production-related issues and ensure print quality.
• Balance multiple projects, shifting between creative design work and production tasks as needed.

Packaging Production Support:

• Assist in entering purchase orders (POs) related to packaging projects.
• Update and manage packaging artwork files, ensuring accuracy and proper version control.
• Generate and review proofs to verify accuracy before final approval; such things are dyelines and content placement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2 years of experience as a Graphic Production Designer, Graphic Designer, Pre- Press Production or similar role in a creative department.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) with experience in both design and production workflows.
• A strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy in both print and digital formats.
• Experience with packaging design and production.
• Experience working with printers, vendors, and production specifications for high-quality print execution.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
