Job Description

Human Resources Associate

Eight Eleven Group is currently seeking a Human Resources Associate to meet its growing demands. The individual, who will work in close coordination with Company’s existing HR team, will assist in a variety of tasks, including:

  • Initiate employee onboarding paperwork to new hires and enter information into payroll system.
  • Update employee information (i.e. job title, address, compensation, etc.) in payroll system.
  • Provides general administrative support to HR Team, including verifications of employment, Form I-9/E-Verify compliance, and unemployment claims.
  • Analyze background check results for eligibility for employment.
  • Review employee relations requests/concerns and respond accordingly.
  • Review requests related to ADA or FMLA and respond appropriately.
  • Stay informed of federal, state, and local employment law updates, specifically those that relate to background checks, paid leaves, etc.
  • Assist fellow HR team members on various other ad-hoc tasks.

1+ years of prior professional experience with the above responsibilities is helpful, but not required. The position will require the employee to work in the office for the first 2-3 months until demonstrating that they are able to work under less supervision. Once the employee is comfortable with their duties, the position will allow for the ability to work from home two days per week. Company Headquarters are located in Broad Ripple.

  • Problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks assigned
  • Ability to recognize when a situation requires escalation to a manager.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, & Outlook. Knowledge with ADP WorkForceNow is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communications, or similar field is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary will factor in both the job duties and employee’s prior experience (if any).
