Job Description

Our legal client is seeking a Legal Marketing Specialist to support and expand their client development efforts, strengthen brand visibility, and oversee firmwide marketing and PR activities.

This individual will collaborate closely with executive leadership and subject matter experts to craft compelling marketing strategies, enhance market positioning, and coordinate client engagement events. This role requires a proactive communicator with strong writing, design, and organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with firm's goals.
  • Craft tailored responses to RFPs, pitch materials, and client presentations to support relationship-building efforts.
  • Produce and maintain marketing collateral and practice-specific content that conveys the firm’s capabilities and achievements.
  • Manage industry recognitions, rankings, and awards submissions from start to finish.
  • Conduct research and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and improve targeting strategies.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors, marketing partners, and third-party affiliations.
  • Plan and execute public relations initiatives, including articles, press releases, and firm announcements.
  • Organize firm-hosted events, sponsorships, and holiday gifting initiatives to promote client engagement.
  • Manage updates to the company website and oversee search engine optimization (SEO) efforts.
  • Lead social media strategy and execution across multiple platforms to boost visibility and reach.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
  • Track and manage the marketing and business development budget.
  • Represent the marketing function in internal meetings and act as the main point of contact for all related initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in a marketing, business development, or communications role within a professional services setting.
  • 1–3 years of experience in the legal, consulting, or similarly client-driven industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, digital communications, and client development strategies.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as WordPress, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with SEO, content management systems, and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Professional, proactive, and resourceful—capable of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
