Job Title: Receiver

Location: Primeclass Lounge – JFK International Airport, New York

Reports To: Lounge Operations Manager

Job Type: Part-Time M, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat (7a-Noon)

Position Summary:

The Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and storing all incoming deliveries for the Primeclass Lounge. This role plays a vital part in maintaining proper inventory levels, ensuring product quality, and supporting smooth lounge operations in compliance with safety, quality, and airport regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
• Inspect incoming goods for accuracy, quality, and damage.
• Accurately record all received items and update inventory logs.
• Ensure proper storage of perishable and non-perishable items following FIFO standards.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area and storage rooms.
• Assist with inventory counts and report shortages or overages.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely restocking of supplies.
• Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed (must be trained and authorized).
• Dispose of packaging materials in accordance with recycling and waste procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a receiving, warehouse, or stockroom role (hospitality or food service industry preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in cold environments.
• Basic computer skills for logging inventory (knowledge of inventory systems a plus).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass airport security clearance.
