Job Description

Optomi, in partnership with a global restaurant industry leader, is seeking a Manager of SAS Development to support key pricing initiatives within the Revenue Growth Management organization. This high-impact role will lead a team responsible for modeling, analyzing, and operationalizing pricing strategies across international markets using SAS and SQL in a high-volume data environment.

Experience of the right candidate:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAS programming, including advanced SAS-specific functions
• Strong SQL expertise within SAS environments, particularly for large-scale data manipulation
• Proven experience leading technical teams in data science, pricing, or business analytics
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and drive actionable pricing insights
• Background working with large, high-volume data environments in corporate or enterprise settings
• Must be able to pass a technical SAS assessment

Preferred Experience:

• Background in finance, insurance, or other data-intensive industries
• Familiarity with Python (minimal usage currently, but growing)
• Exposure to pricing tools (e.g., Price Engine) or KPI reporting systems
• Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

• Lead a team of analysts and developers focused on pricing analytics and performance tracking
• Design and execute SAS-based models to evaluate price recommendations across global markets
• Manage and optimize SQL queries within SAS to support reporting and decision-making
• Translate complex business needs into scalable analytical solutions and technical specifications
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, and global business partners to assess pricing impact
• Oversee development of recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards
• Support expansion of the pricing analytics team and mentor junior developers
