CPA Firm in Marina del Rey serving clients in entertainment, technology, health and consulting industries for tax and accounting.

Boutique firm with 2 CPAs and 3 accountants.

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Office Manager with Bookkeeping experience to support our CPA work with tax and accounting clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong organizational background in a service firm (Law, Accounting, Medical) to interface with clients, data files, and track work progress online through to completion of each job or tax return.

Experience in bank account reconciliations and Quickbooks is required to support client monthly accounting work.

This operational role will improve efficiency in with client turn-around and services performed in the CPA office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the client database in the office for incoming and outgoing files and communication.
  • Manage the office workflow with the CPA principal to support staff assignments and track progress in online software programs.
  • Answer telephone calls with CPA and handle service requests, document and delegate to staff.
  • Manage basic operations as supplies, mail, as a central coordinator.
  • Manage invoicing and payment tracking with CPA / owner for the CPA firm.
  • Use QUICKBOOKS for financial reporting and analysis of select celebrity or high net worth clients.
  • Provide support for tax and accounting tasks as needed, collaborating with team members on various projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management review.

Requirements & Skills

· College/ Bachelor Degree

· Proven experience as an Office Manager for a service firm.

  • Communicator and client focused: must have clear and organized writing skills.
  • Know and experience of basic accounting principles and practices.

· Excel / Data user. more than 5 year's experience.

  • Excellent calendar management skills for scheduling meetings and deadlines.
  • Email Outlook deep user; experience in Customer Relation Management systems; database management for web based programs.

· Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good personality and strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and clients
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
