Position Overview

Key Duties:

• Accurately input prescription information received via electronic systems, fax, or phone, following established internal procedures.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare providers and prescribers through various channels, including phone calls and voicemail management.
• Follow up on outstanding prescription issues or requests submitted by pharmacists, pharmacy techs, and support teams such as incident resolution staff.
• Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with applicable legal standards and company guidelines, prioritizing safety and accuracy.
• Carry out additional responsibilities typical of a Pharmacy Technician as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience working in a pharmacy technician or comparable healthcare support role.
• National pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or NHA) is preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within 120 days of hire.
• Strong communication skills with a professional and courteous phone demeanor.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all data-related tasks.
• Comfortable using technology and able to quickly adapt to new software platforms.
• Basic proficiency in pharmacy-related math and dosage calculations.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00a-9:30p EST and Sat 9:00a-5:00p EST. (8 hour shift within the operational hours)
