Product Manager

Location: Austin, TX

Contract: 12 months

Rate Range: $70/hour-$75+/hour The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, location, and other factors.

Role

This individual, contractor, will lead the WAS Meeting/Telephony initiative. Ensuring product requirements are met, roadmap sequenced effectively, product testing, and full initiative rollout has met product/technical requirements. Support is needed across three phases: 1) Migration from Webex to MS Teams w/ NICE vendor call recording integration. 2) Fast Follow genAI transcript capabilities for meeting summarization and action items. 3) Client digital experience on S.com to display post meeting action items and high-level summary. All of these phases will take 12 months to complete.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Product Management: Strong product strategy and business analysis skills, with a proven track record of capturing clean requirements, enabling the delivery of successful digital products.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Demonstrated ability to synthesize and process data, leverage user research and data-driven measurement techniques, and use data to inform product decisions.
• Collaboration and Communication: Effective relationship-building skills, ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and strong communication skills to articulate ideas and present product prototypes.
• Client Focus: Passion for digital innovation, commitment to superb client experience, and experience with client journeys and digital user experience.
• Agile Development: Experience working in cross-functional scrum teams, prioritizing backlogs, defining requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with digital product development, including understanding how digital products work and how they integrate into the ecosystem.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Financial Services Background: Understanding of financial services regulations, specifically around Retirement.
• Experimentation: Experience with experiment-driven product development, developing and testing hypotheses, and quickly learning from data.
• Technical Skills: Experience with SQL, writing user stories in Gherkin language, and working in a regulated environment with legal and compliance considerations.
• Experience with MS Project, MS Visio, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Splunk, Optimizely and A/B Testing. MABL is a plus.
