Job Description

Job Purpose

The ERP Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of the company’s ERP system. This role ensures that ERP projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives, while driving system adoption, process improvements, and post-go-live stabilization to maximize operational efficiency and business value.

Reporting Lines

  • Day to day reporting into the USA Project Owner/Lead as required
  • Weekly reporting into the central Fusion Team Project Assurance
  • Bi-weekly or monthly reporting into the USA Project/Change Board

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Leads the daily delivery of the project from mobilization to post live sign off.
  • Develops/manages detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources, costs, and quality assurance.
  • Acts as the primary liaison between the client, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Drives the business change/transformation activities including stakeholder engagement, communication plans, training, and adoption strategies.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Oversee resource planning and team coordination to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Facilitate regular project reviews, status reports, steering committee/governance meetings, and documentation updates.
  • Manages co-ordination between local USA delivery team, the system integrator and the central Fusion program team.
  • Includes planning to support the definition and execution of testing and data migration strategies.
  • Collaborates with finance, supply chain, operations, and IT departments to align ERP functionality with business objectives.
  • Ensures the post live change and release management approach is in place as part of the SMT global change and release approach
  • Manages potential complementary sub projects as part of the digital transformation.
  • Lead post–go-live ERP stabilization efforts, managing issue resolution, enhancements, and end-user support across business functions.
  • Partner with cross-functional and IT teams to identify, prioritize, and implement system and process improvements.
  • Monitor system performance, data accuracy, and user adoption, driving ongoing training and change management.
  • Maintain governance and documentation standards while ensuring compliance, security, and vendor coordination.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability requirements

  • Understanding of business change management, including organizational readiness, stakeholder management, and user adoption.
  • Strong risk management and issue resolution capabilities in complex delivery environments.
  • Exceptional planning and scheduling skills with experience using tools like MS Project, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in ERP project management, with at least 3+ years delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O + CE/CRM) projects.
  • Proven success in managing enterprise-level ERP implementations with multiple workstreams.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is preferred.
  • Experience within construction equipment industry preferred

Working Conditions and Additional Requirements

This job operates in an office environment. Office hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional needs outside standard business hours to accommodate meetings, training and projects. Some travel may be required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
