Remote Credit Investment Operations Manager - Private Credit

Our team is working with a leading private credit fund looking to hire a Remote Investment Operations Manager to their growing team. The Investment Operations Manager will be responsible for trade & settlement processing, corporate actions, monthly & quarterly workflows, & mentoring a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end operational processes for credit investment transactions, including trade execution, settlement, and reconciliation.

  • Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, credit analysts, legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure smooth deal flow and accurate reporting.

  • Oversee the monitoring of credit portfolios, including covenant tracking, risk exposure analysis, and performance metrics.

  • Develop and implement operational controls and best practices to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.

  • Coordinate due diligence and documentation processes for new investments and portfolio monitoring.

  • Maintain strong relationships with external counterparties, custodians, trustees, and other service providers.

  • Support the preparation of internal and external reports, audits, and regulatory filings.

  • Lead and mentor junior operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Drive automation and technology initiatives to enhance operational workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in credit investment operations, middle office, or similar roles within private equity, credit funds, or asset management firms.

  • Strong understanding of credit instruments, loan structures, and investment lifecycle management.

  • Proficiency with investment management systems, portfolio management software, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
