Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Residential Re-Roof Estimator to join

our team. This role is responsible for evaluating residential roofing projects, performing

accurate take-offs, preparing proposals, and serving as a trusted advisor to homeowners

throughout the re-roofing process. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of roofing

systems, building codes, and permitting requirements, along with the ability to deliver

professional estimates that balance accuracy, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site roof inspections to assess existing conditions, measurements, and

potential challenges.

• Prepare detailed and accurate job estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and

permit fees.

• Review construction plans, specifications, and homeowner requests to develop

customized proposals.

• Utilize company software/CRM systems to generate proposals, estimates, and

supporting documentation.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of roofing products, installation methods, warranties,

and industry best practices.

• Communicate effectively with homeowners, addressing questions, concerns, and scope

of work.

• Collaborate with project managers, sales representatives, and crews to ensure scope

alignment.

• Verify compliance with local building codes, HOA requirements, and Miami-

Dade/Florida Building Code.

• Track and follow up on estimates, maintaining a high conversion rate from estimates to

signed contracts.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in residential roofing, construction estimating, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems (shingle, tile, metal, flat) and underlayment/code

requirements.

• Proficiency in estimating software, take-off programs, CRM platforms.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to climb ladders, walk roofs safely, and work in varying weather conditions.
