Role: SAP EAM Consultant

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support CU Design development and maintain construction standards and catalog structures.
Manage Capex planning workflows and ensure alignment with utility project and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with engineering, field operations, and planning teams to support Utility Work & Asset Management strategies.
Develop, optimize, and maintain asset hierarchies, work order structures, preventive/predictive maintenance schedules , and asset documentation.
Provide hands-on support for EAM systems (e.g., IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, Oracle WAM, or similar) within utility environments.
Drive continuous improvement in work execution, asset data integrity, and maintenance planning effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety guidelines, and regulatory policies.
Train and guide internal teams on work management best practices and system usage.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Work & Asset Management within utilities (Electric / Gas / Water).
Deep understanding of CU Design , Construction Standards , and Capex Utility Planning .
Hands-on experience with at least one major EAM platform (e.g., Maximo, SAP EAM, Oracle WAM).
Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management , preventive maintenance practices, and work order processes.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, and construction specifications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with GIS / Network Models (e.g., ESRI, Smallworld) is a plus.
Utility industry certifications or reliability-focused credentials (e.g., CMRP) are an advantage.
