Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sr. Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact software projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, strong leadership skills, and experience in coaching teams to adopt Agile best practices and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Guide and coach, the team on Scrum and Agile best practices.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments and foster a collaborative team environment to maximize productivity.
  • Work with the Product Owner to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Monitor sprint progress and ensure deliverables are met on time.
  • Help teams adopt Agile frameworks and continuously improve processes.
  • Track and report key metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and team performance.
  • Shield the team from external interference and distractions.
  • Foster transparency, communication, and trust within and across teams.
  • Support the team in achieving a high level of performance and quality.

Job Skills/Qualification Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Rally).
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I or higher).
  • Experience working in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
  • Background in software development or technical project management.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile testing methodologies.
