Job Title: Senior Decorator – High-End Residential (FFE Focus)

Location: New York, NY

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Decorator specializing in FFE for our prestigious high-end residential studio in New York. The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of luxury interior design, and extensive experience working with AutoCAD Studio Designer. This role involves leading the FFE design process from concept through installation, ensuring each project reflects the client’s vision and our studio’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the FFE design development for luxury residential projects, collaborating closely with clients, architects, and interior designers.
  • Create detailed AutoCAD Studio Designer drawings, specifications, and presentation materials.
  • Source and specify high-end furniture, fixtures, and decorative elements that align with project aesthetic and client preferences.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and oversee procurement to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with the project team to ensure seamless integration of FFE within overall design plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current luxury FFE trends, products, and industry best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative studio environment.
  • Ensure all design work adheres to budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design with a focus on FFE.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Studio Designer and other relevant design software.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing luxury residential FFE projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team in a fast-paced environment.
