  • Travel Expectations are around ~25%/year on average but can vary depending on the client and engagement; must be willing to travel to Chicago for first client project

The Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join their Technology consulting practice and deliver on UI/UX design focused projects for their clients in Financial Services, Healthcare, SaaS/High Tech, and other industries. If you’re passionate about human-centered design and love turning complex challenges into elegant, scalable digital solutions, they would love to talk with you further about the role!

What You’ll Do

Lead the Way in Product Design & Strategy:

  • Partner with clients to shape compelling product visions that align with their business goals and customer needs.
  • Translate insights and requirements into thoughtful design strategies that drive real business impact.
  • Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams — from product managers to engineers — to bring concepts to life.
  • Advocate for design thinking and push boundaries to create innovative, user-centric experiences.

Craft Exceptional User Experiences:

  • Lead UX research efforts including usability testing, contextual inquiries, and behavioral analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Turn research into actionable outputs — personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and more.
  • Design across platforms: from responsive web and mobile to complex enterprise systems.
  • Create everything from wireframes to polished high-fidelity UIs, ensuring accessibility, scalability, and WCAG compliance.
  • Contribute to and evolve design systems, maintaining visual consistency and interaction standards.
  • Facilitate testing sessions, synthesize findings, and iterate based on real user feedback.

Collaborate, Communicate, and Inspire:

  • Present design concepts with confidence, building trust and alignment with clients and stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with engineering, QA, and business teams to ensure seamless handoffs and high-quality delivery.
  • Act as a mentor within the design discipline — sharing knowledge, supporting peers, and helping shape a positive team culture.
  • Champion the value of design with clients and internal teams alike.

Support Business Growth:

  • Contribute to proposals and project scoping, bringing design expertise to early-stage client conversations.
  • Use case studies, metrics, and examples to demonstrate the business value of design.

What You Bring

  • A strong portfolio that showcases your design thinking, process, and measurable impact.
  • Mastery of tools like Figma and Maze — from ideation to prototyping and testing.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and lead stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep experience with DesignOps and cross-functional collaboration across design, product, and engineering.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular) preferred.
  • Familiarity w/ platforms like AEM, Drupal, SharePoint, Salesforce, or ServiceNow preferred.
  • A degree in Product Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in end-to-end product design within consulting, agency, or in-house teams.
