We’re looking for a hands-on Recruiter (Player-Coach) to join our team. This dual-role position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to balance active recruiting with building and leading a high-performance recruiting team.

What You’ll Do:

Recruiting (Individual Contributor Responsibilities):

  • Source, screen, interview, and submit qualified candidates for skilled manufacturing roles (machine operators, welders, assemblers, CNC techs, etc.)
  • Build and maintain a steady pipeline of pre-screened candidates to support both immediate and future client needs
  • Leverage job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach to drive candidate flow
  • Conduct skills assessments, reference checks, and ensure all compliance requirements are met
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client job requirements and respond quickly to fill openings
  • Own the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing through placement and follow-up

Team Leadership (Player-Coach Responsibilities):

  • Help build and grow the internal recruiting team by hiring, training, and mentoring junior recruiters
  • Develop recruiting strategies to improve speed-to-fill, candidate quality, and retention
  • Monitor and manage key recruiting KPIs for yourself and your team
  • Lead by example — balancing your own desk while helping others hit their recruiting targets
  • Drive consistency and excellence in candidate experience and internal processes

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on skilled manufacturing or light industrial roles strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in a staffing agency or high-volume recruiting environment required
  • Demonstrated success managing candidate pipelines and closing placements quickly
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate junior recruiters
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both candidates and internal sales teams
  • Tech-savvy — comfortable using ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and reporting systems
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills — can handle multiple open reqs with ease
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
