Our client a Japanese IT company is seeking a Sr. SOC Analyst to join their team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• CISSP or GIAC 50X required
• MCSE, MCP, CCNA or Security + preferred
• 5+ years of IT experience preferred
• Able to independently design networks, servers, and implement security products
• 4+ years of experience as a SOC analyst and handling incident response
• Experience in managing and tuning SIEM products
• Cyber security experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Experience with EDR tools
• Experience installing network security devices (FW, IDS/IPS,)
• Experience installing servers and servers (Linux/Windows)

Job Duties:

• Monitor SIEM alerts 24/7 to detect threats and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and manage security incidents, collaborating with teams on resolution and prevention.
• Handle escalations from Tier I SOC analysts and provide incident analysis and recommendations.
• Track and document incidents through their lifecycle.
• Maintain SOC infrastructure, office systems, and client devices for optimal performance.
• Administer servers, networks, and security controls.
• Design and support IT infrastructure and respond to system issues as needed.
• Act as a subject matter expert on SOC services and security tools.
• Provide technical support for security solutions.
• Train and mentor Tier I analysts
• Engage with stakeholders during pre- and post-sales activities.
• Deliver client reports and seek ongoing improvements in workflows.
• Maintain and enhance SOC tools, documentation, and infrastructure.
