Job Description

Job Title: On-Premise Sales Intern (Part-Time, Summer)

Location: Philadelphia, PA or South Jersey Shore

Compensation: $15–$20/hour + Case Sale Commission

Schedule: 12 PM – 6 PM (Flexible) | 4–5 Days/Week | Summer 2025

Charles Jacquin et Cie Inc. is seeking motivated, sales-driven interns to join our team this summer as Field Sales & Brand Ambassadors . This is a part-time, paid internship ideal for individuals who are outgoing, self-starting, and excited to gain hands-on sales experience in the food and beverage industry.

About the Role:

This is not a passive brand rep role — it’s an active sales internship. You’ll be on the ground throughout Philadelphia, calling on bars, restaurants, and other on-premise accounts to pitch and sell our premium spirits and specialty products. You’ll work directly with our sales team, help expand market presence, and build meaningful customer relationships that drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tastings and support on-site activations to drive sell-through
  • Visit on-premise accounts (bars, restaurants, lounges) to pitch and sell products
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with venue staff and decision-makers
  • Educate clients on product features, pricing, and promotional offers
  • Hit weekly sales targets and report progress to the Sales Manager
  • Log all visits, orders, and account notes
  • Represent the Jacquin brand professionally and enthusiastically in the field
  • Merchandise shelves with strategic shelf placement
  • Maintain cold boxes and build displays
  • Stock inventories across accounts
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21+ years old by the start of employment (no exceptions)
  • Passionate about spirits, sales, and building client relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a field sales territory
  • Must have license and access to a vehicle
  • Previous sales, hospitality, or beverage industry experience is a plus

What You’ll Get:

  • Hourly pay ($15–$20 based on experience) plus commission on sales
  • Hands-on sales training and mentorship from our team
  • Flexible summer schedule
  • An opportunity to build real relationships and make a measurable impact
  • Product perks and potential for future full-time roles

We’re hiring at least two interns for this position. If you're ready to hustle, sell, and learn from an iconic Philly-based company, we want to meet you.
