Salary Range: $105,800 – $132,300 annually The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors (+ 7% Target Bonus)
Akkodis is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer for a global leader in blood component, therapeutic apheresis, and cellular technologies, serving customers in over 150 countries.
About the Role
As a Supplier Quality Engineer 3, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products assembled by third-party contract manufacturers. These electro-mechanical systems support both cell therapy and disposable kit production. You’ll lead efforts to qualify supplier capabilities, improve quality processes, and support the transition from sustaining to new product development.
What You’ll Do
• Act as the primary liaison with key suppliers and CMOs to resolve quality and technical issues
• Lead supplier performance monitoring, audits, and CAPA investigations
• Drive process development and validation for injection molding, blow molding, and high-
speed automation
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and assess feasibility of in-house vs. outsourced
manufacturing
• Build and track KPIs, identify global trends, and conduct onsite audits
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve supplier relationships and ensure compliance with
GMP and FDA regulations
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Biomedical preferred)
• 6+ years of experience, including 2 years in GMP manufacturing
• 4+ years in injection molding, blow molding, or device manufacturing at contract
manufacturers
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Deep understanding of FDA regulations, GMP practices, and process validation
• Experience with supplier auditing, test method validation, and project management
