Job Description

Clerical Assistant (Part-Time)

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to perform a variety of clerical tasks in a part-time capacity for one of our clients. This role is essential to maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth operation of daily office functions. This position will require between 20 and 30 hours of in-office, onsite work, and will pay between $18 and $20/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • File documents and maintain organized records, both physical and digital
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing correspondence
  • Perform data entry and update spreadsheets and databases
  • Photocopy, scan, and fax documents as needed
  • Maintain office supply inventory and restock items as necessary
  • Assist with preparing forms, reports, and other routine paperwork
  • Answer phones, take messages, and direct calls appropriately
  • Support other clerical staff with overflow tasks and special projects

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous clerical or office experience preferred
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and fax machines
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
