Job Description

We are seeking a n experienced SAP BTP Architect who will leadend-to-end technical architecture, solution design, and presales engagementsfor our SAP transformation programs. The role requires strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform , proficiency in solutioning acrossintegration, extensibility, automation, and data , and the ability toconfidently conduct SAP Business AI and Joule value conversationswith customers.

This is both customer-facing and presales role ,requiring deep technical skills, business understanding, and communication excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP BTP Architecture & Solution Design

• Design end-to-end architecture covering Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Build Apps/Build Process Automation, CAP/Node.js/Java , and event-driven architecture .
• Lead architecture blueprinting for clean core , side-by-side extensibility, and SAP S/4HANA digital transformation.
• Define solution architectures , integration patterns, security models, identity provisioning (IAS/IDP), and connectivity concepts.
• Perform BTP landscape sizing, tenant strategy, transport strategy (CTS+, Cloud TMS), and operational governance.

2. Presales & Customer Engagement

• Lead customer discovery workshops, requirement assessments, and value engineering discussions.
• Prepare and deliver presales assets such as proposals, solution blueprints, BoQ/BOM, effort estimations, architecture diagrams, and demo scripts.
• Support RFP/RFI responses with detailed solution narratives aligned to customer use cases.
• Execute BTP product demonstrations (Build Apps, BPA, Integration Suite, CAP services, Data products).

3. SAP Business AI, Joule & GenAI Advisory

• Conduct SAP Business AI positioning , AI Unit–based licensing discussions and use case identification workshops.
• Articulate value of BTP AI Services (Document Information Extraction, AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub, Joule etc.).
• Guide customers on responsible AI , data privacy, and clean core alignment for AI-based extensions.
• Design AI-infused solutions using GenAI hubs , LLM orchestration, vector stores, and BTP-based automation.

5. Stakeholder Communication

• Engage enterprise architects, SAP functional teams, and business owners.
• Translate business requirements into BTP-centric solutions with clear business value.
• Conduct enablement sessions/workshops for internal and customer teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• 10 to 15 years of SAP experience with 8+ years deep expertise in SAP BTP .
• Strong hands-on proficiency in:
• Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh)
• Extension Suite (CAP, BTP Kyma, Cloud Foundry, Fiori/UI5)
• SAP Build Apps & Build Process Automation
• Security (IAS/IPS, OAuth, JWT, XSUAA)
• BTP Account Model, Subaccounts, Services, Entitlements, and Consumption Models
• Working knowledge of SAP Business AI , Joule, and integrating LLMs with SAP backend.
• Experience building AI-infused applications using Generative AI Hub or external LLMs.

Presales Skills

• Strong ability to run customer workshops, value demos, and design-thinking engagements.
• Experience in estimations, technical proposals, and architectural deliverables.
• Ability to articulate ROI, TCO, AI-driven business benefits, and transformation roadmaps.
