About the Role
We are a Chambers-rated litigation boutique seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience handling high-stakes litigation across state and federal courts, as well as arbitration. This role requires an attorney who can independently manage a large caseload of complex matters, lead strategy, and mentor associates with minimal partner oversight.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as lead attorney on approximately 15 complex commercial litigation matters.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trials/arbitrations.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and conduct evidentiary hearings.
• Draft high-quality legal briefs, pleadings, and memoranda.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Supervise and mentor associates, delegating appropriately while maintaining high standards.
• Manage case budgets, timelines, and client expectations.

Qualifications
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Florida.
• 10–15+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Demonstrated evidentiary hearing experience and preferably some trial experience.
• Strong skills in depositions, motion practice, and oral advocacy.
• Exceptional legal writing, analysis, and communication abilities.
• Experience managing associates and leading case teams.
• Portable book of business a plus, but not required.
